F1 Competition 2013: Season 3 **Entries Closed**

Leave poor JMW alone. Some of us are absolutely fine to wait for as long as it takes.

And that has nothing to do with the fact I was 3rd bottom last time we did have an update and I don't think I'll have improved much since....

Right, like the Golf Competition I've re-written the spreadsheet, updated the points for the last 5 races, gone back, worked out what round of fixtures was remaining for the F1 Comp, filled those in and also done the Last 16 and Quarter-Finals as they have been and gone as well.

The following is all F1 Cup Related. The final round of group matches were very interesting and the teams already out of it didn't lie down and caused some upsets and trouble along the way, which meant that every new score input changed the ramifications for the other matches in a group. Some groups went right down to points difference, a very close finish. This round took place at the German GP.

For the Last 16 the teams were split up in 2 pots, one pot for the Group Winners and Runners-up. The 2 pots were ranked according to performance in the Group Stage, so the group winner with the best record would be number 1 and the team with the least good record would be number 8. Teams from the same group could not be drawn against each other in the Last 16.

So the 4 Semi-Finalists were all group runners-up and 4 of the 5 lowest ranked Runners-Up. Just shows the competitiveness of this competition, probably the toughest one of all my tournaments if not all tournaments ;).

So again for the Semi-Final draw the teams were ranked in order of match, so the seedings were:

This round will be played at the Japanese GP (the race after next). The draw is as follows:
