F1 Season 2020.

And to think, all the furore in F1 when the halo cockpit came in. It's ugly etc.

Saved his life today.
Think a few drivers have had a change of heart after today and are full of praise for the FIA’s safety drive.

Still getting my head round how he managed to get out of the car and what must have been running through Grosjeans’s head when he was sat in flames for 18 seconds. It was lucky he stayed conscious, having to reach out find the unclips for his seatbelt in fire and then get out of the cockpit in a completely unnatural position is mind boggling.

He’s a very lucky person, the rest of the drivers are nervous driving round him because of some of the accidents he has caused. Lunging to the right when he didn’t see Kyvat wasn’t the brightest idea. He will have balls of steel though if he gets back in the car after that next weekend, the short course being run in Bahrain will turn it into the wacky races as they will be constantly running in traffic.

He was leaving Haas at the end of the season and was likely to retire so I imagine that may be his last F1 race. What a way to go!

Hopefully those who comment that the sport is now "too safe" and we have unnecessary safety cars, yellow flags etc will now think again. A lot of viewers take it for granted that there haven't been too many incidents in recent seasons.

well, they're 2 separate points. That was what a red flag is for. They've been too eager to throw a safety car this season when a VSC would do.
