F1 Season 2021

Jealous mate, No other reason whatsoever, Well apart from the racist fuckers. I've no fuckin idea how anyone English could jeer him when he wins. We're talking a huge amount of people who don't like him too.

Cunts!

It is possible to dislike a person, player, driver, team etc for simply winning too much.

I was a massive Hamilton fan in his early years then when he was underdog at McLaren Vs Vettel and in the start of the Merc domination era.

But that got boring after a few seasons and now I'm utterly bored with Hamilton easily winning the championship the last few years by being one of the best drivers AND also having the best car.

Now he's actually getting challenged by Verstappen I'm happy to see them both do well as I want a competitive season.

I'm more expressing my point about the dislike of him, Ah but who do you want to ultimately pick up the prize? :)

Good question...

I honestly don't know. I think I'd be happy for either of them to win as long as we got a proper season long championship battle.

I don't think we've had a championship battle between two drivers in different teams go to the wire since 2012.

But isn't it the case that a lot of races go to the wire? And have done, even in his champion seasons? He just finds that little bit extra — as he did yesterday — at the big moments. That's why he's had an absurd number of poles during his career, where the difference in practices is often measured in tenths of a second.

I can't help but think Toto was trolling Horner with giving his team the opportunity to get Red Bull the fastest lap point.

Probably being a bit pessimistic here but I do fear that this season is going to prove a real anticlimax now. Mercedes seem to have ironed out whatever issues they had and are still going to be the dominant team with the dominant driver. Red Bull have undoubtedly improved but not by enough to consistently challenge Mercedes on a race by race basis. However they have improved to a level that has taken them away from the other teams. As a result the podium places are already decided as being 3 from those 4 drivers. Hopefully I am wrong and just being overly negative and there'll be all sorts of changes in Spain this weekend!

I Jokingly said at the end of the race that's another season over. Hopefully the sprint races will throw something in the mix.

why don't they water the track it would be fun ? 10 to 20 laps of water on the track and then let it dry out and the race line becomes dry

The top 3 all looked good in Q3. Norris will be disappointed, he had genuine pace.
