It used to be that way, or they'd take a note of the time gap then added it on at the end of the race, then they changed it during the Schumacher dominance era, I believe.I still dont understand why the lapped cars can be moved out to give the second place car an advantage. Surely the race restarts with everyone holding their places, i just dont get it
