Abso fucking lutely. And hypocrite Horner’s comments:
The last 10 years really made me forget how detestable a character Horner is.
Drive to Survive kind of reminded me, but Red Bull challenging for the title has turned him up to 11.
Abso fucking lutely. And hypocrite Horner’s comments:
You won't be missed.I had 3 years away from watching F1 due to the favouritism, thought I'd give it a go again this year, but looks like I'm going back to indycar.
Enjoy your joke F1
Half the Channel 4 team are on the Red Bull books.
Webber, Coulthard etc
Sky has Ant Davidson on their books who works for Mercedes so both channels have their bias to be fair.
Interesting difference in coverage.I prefer the Channel 4 coverage of F1 compared to Sky mostly due to the 'banter' between Jones, Coulthard & Webber.
Once you get past Jones' constant excited puppy presentation of F1, I find it more engaging than Sky's rather bland coverage.
Found yesterday's Top Gun intro gambit starring Tom Cruise racing cars around Silverstone & injecting movie film lines a nice touch for the casual viewer. Coulthard's reaction to Jones admitting watching the beach volleyball scene on loop was priceless comedy.
Most F1 drivers are ruthless, arrogant, self-centered individuals who believe they are always in the right. Its dog eat dog out there & I'm unsurprised Webber & Coulthard's mannerisms havn't really changed too much after switching from the car to the commentary booth.
Hmm, strange take.I love how you can take out your championship rival and be given a slap on the wrist that then leaves you to win the race against a much slower car.
This sport is turning into an utter travesty.
For the first part I thought it was really fun. Then as soon as Ricciardo overtook Alonso (lap 9, 10?) it became incredibly dull. Like a normal race, minus a lot of the racecraft and strategy of one.Been down at Silverstone this weekend and obviously this thread has moved on a bit with what happened in the actual race but what were people's thoughts on the Sprint Race on the Saturday? It definitely added something extra to the weekend for us at the track so can see it staying but it does need tweaking a bit. I'd have more points on offer and going lower down the order (so maybe 10 for a win, 9 for second, 8 for third etc). For me it became a bit processional as there was no point making a risky pass lower down the field as the consequence for getting it wrong was too severe with no incentive for actually making it stick.
If you’re inplying about their health then senna died thanks to a fault with the car and Schumacher got injured skiing so what’s your pointHmm, strange take.
It must have been better in the days of Senna and then Schumacher, eh?
Oh, hang on...
Do you have the Lottery numbers for next week, Kreskin? That wasn't a punishment though, he shouldn't have been allowed to race, intentionally took his direct opponent out and luckily escaped serious injury
