I'm pretty sure that's in the rules. It certainly is for Moto GP.

Not seen anything but the forecast so far. guess we'll find more out when everyone arrives in Suzuka over the next day or so. I think they could have Quali and the Race on the same day, but I'm not certain.

Looking like the Suzuka race will be almost certainly wet and possibly cancelled.

Honda will be gutted, as they have brought lots of upgrades for their home race.
