Points don't mean nothing as he could easily miss a race if he misbehaves again
No I didn't forget it because I was laughing my head off at Mercedes incompetence when it happened, he had the chance to overtake him with well over a quarter of the race to go and he bottled it.
Haha. Bottled it and Hamilton don't fit the same sentence.

So long as Vettel manages to not run someone off the track in his next race then the points mean fuck all as two drop off his license.

Well he did because he failed to overtake vettel, despite him being supposedly so superior to him according to you; on a track that suited his car more than Vettel's

Funny how when he can't have his teammate blocking him he can't manage to get past seb eh.

Also you seem to be blind to the fact that he was essentially penalised for 13 points by his 10 second start and stop penalty don't you?

He has received points on his license and it cost him the race as I stated earlier
As for having increased his points blame Hamilton for being unable to overtake him after he'd came out of the pit lane

I agree with you, as I said yesterday.
Vettel was wrong to bang wheels - I'd like to see a camera shot inside the car to see if he moved the wheel into him - and got a penalty which matched the incident. It cost him a win. My impression was that he was entitled to think that LH had brake-tested him, because that's what it may have looked like coming out of the corner that slowly, and watched bits fly off as a result. The actual first impact was not punishable really.
Hamilton needs to look to the team who cost him the race.

The reports of "drove into the side" and ramming are hype and hysteria. He banged wheels on someone he though had done something dangerous.

Only 13? More than that surely for 10 seconds stationary and a pitlane drivethrough?

I was amused by the request for Bottas to back Vettel up (thus giving Vettel DRS...) after the reactions from Merc fans in previous races.

As the image shows he did brake hard and that's what caused Seb to go into the back of him
I just want to make clear before I'm accused of bias I believe the penalty was deserved but I think the shunt was right to be left unpunished

Is the right answer. Was just listening to Jackie Stewart who kinda blamed Lewis for Vettel shunting him. As for the side swipe he said it was disgracefull from Vettel.

Fair assessment.

Couldn't agree more with every point you make mate, it was a silly bit of driving and careless but to make it out as a piece of vicious driving is a bit ridiculous

Unfortunately people won't admit to it but because Lewis is British and Seb is German they'll do anything to paint the latter in a bad as light as possible.

Well Seb was in 1st and was in course for 25 pts before he was rightly punished, finishing 4th netted him 12 points which is a difference of 13 points

Yes that made me laugh, why does he expect bottas to give up his race for second place and possibly even lose his place to vettel? If Mercedes had gone along with his request he could have finished 5th very easily instead of a very good 2nd place

Yeah I think it was poor from vettel however I don't believe it was malicious. If you rewatch the incident he takes a hand off the wheel while gesticulating to Lewis and he loses control of the car in his rage
Careless? Definitely. Malicious? I'm not so sure
