Work it out your paying £500ish/year one of these cost 150 a yr for every channel and broadband is for next to nothing now.And I guarantee your sky subscription goes up 3 times in that year

My "Mate" has just bought one online for £65 and it works a treat.

Just plug it into your old dish and attach to t'internet and away you go.

What site did your "mate" get one from at such a good price on, my "mate" would like to know. Also, does it give you 3pm games?

I heard it was bought on Amazon and yes indeed he said it has the 3 oclock kickoffs included.

Not that i'd know like.

I got a "mate" who maybe interested but is there any options that allow for the same functions as a sky+ hd box.

What "he" wants is the recording of channels whilst watching something else and the ability to line them up like on series link

is there a box that does this?

Vu+ Duo, Duo2, Solo2, uno (need to buy a plug and play twin tuner card (about £50)

a lots of other high end boxs do too but i'm not sure on models.

as for system link, you would probably find a plug in for that since there is 100s that do all kids of wonderful things :)

thats garden shed servers for you mate.

My mate has one of these and claims to have every single channel, including PPV and all premier league games, in HD and paid £300 for the box. I am paying £78.50 a month for my Sky, so it would pay for itself in just over 4 months, then no more monthly bills.
My question is, are they too good to be true? He claims to have a 2 year, unblockable signal on his, all done through broadband. He also says I am a mug for carrying on with my Sky, whereas I look at it as being cautious in my late 30's compared to him being young, dumb and full o'cum.

I paid £150 for my box and I get all the channels in HD, I've had mine since August but some of the sports channels have been blocked.

You can update the blocked channels here - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.techkings.org/skybox-f3-f5-f6/49621-aj-channel-list-15-10-2013-a.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.techkings.org/skybox-f3-f5-f ... 013-a.html</a> (just never bothered)

Worth it though.

I have Sky as well but my GF pays for that so my F5 box is back up just in case she decides to do one.
