I`d like to highlight that the fa are a load of dicks, consult everyone except the fans.
Game should be at the swamp anyway imop.
I went to the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford in October and it is not a place for finals. It's a club ground that i didn't enjoy going to. It wasn't special to me in any way compared to when I've been to Wembley to watch City and Warrington over the last five years.

If the final was at Mordor i'd be hugely disappointed!

As an afterthought, we could all turn up and not go in until fifteen mins after kick-off! And then we unfurl our banners - 3 o'clock KO!

I've been doing that protest every game for years. Except for the banner bit.

I always suspected I was ahead of the times.

I dont like the late start at all but the fact is it makes the FA more money and the key point, WEMBLEY WILL BE FULL:
We will sell out allocation and more and everyone will moan but have a great time.
The only protest you can make is for nobody to go and make it an embarrassment but thats never going to happen so unfortunately I cant see how we the fans can win.

Bombard the FA website, twitter feed etc with protests etc and take some banners to unfurl at Wembley. The TV picked up banners at Arsenal moaning about the ticket prices so I am sure they will for this. FA won't want four more weeks of moans.

The FA don't care about Wigan
They don't care about City
All they care about are 'fans' watching TV

The T.V. may pick it up but they may well avoid showing any banner as they are the 'stakeholder' that wanted the late kick off,

We all know its a bullshit decision by the FA, designed to attract higher tv audiences, purely so they can charge more for sponsors and advertising etc,

But there is no way in hell that the time will change!

Am not to pleased about it myself but there is nothing that we can do other than either not go, or like me, suck it in, have a great day out and watch us (hopefully) lift the cup!

Coach back to Manchester then a nice long lie in on Sunday!

That F.A. Statement in full...
In relation to the information announced for the kick-off time of The FA Cup with Budweiser Final, The FA would like to highlight that the FA do not give a t*ss about football fans or indeed the status of the FA cup itself.
Major stakeholders and broadcasters told us in no uncertain terms that they wanted the match broadcast early on Saturday evening and we complied otherwise we would put a critical revenue stream at risk.
In terms of transportation, a small percentage of Cup Final fans use the method of train travel. We should point out that additional coach services, including some directly from Wembley Stadium, are being provided by our partner National Express who incidentally are sponsoring Wembley and therefore giving us a small cut from every seat filled.
All this extra sponsorship money helps us to pay for the Wembley white elephant that was built in London, for Londoners at a cost 8 times higher than a similar stadium in Birmingham at the NEC.
The kick-off time is unchanged from last year and this allows more football fans around the country to watch The Cup Final in its entirety.
The domestic viewing figures for last year’s FA Cup Final, shown on ITV and ESPN, recorded a combined peak in-home audience of 11.7m people in the UK which means that the broadcasters are more likely to give us additional money when the TV contract comes up for renewal.
This was the highest peak viewing figure The FA Cup Final has achieved under the current TV deal which is ideal for the armchair fans (especially of Manchester United) who are clearly more important to us than fans, especially northern fans, who may not get home till 1a.m. in the morning.

I don't have an issue with a later kivk off, bit more time in bed on game day and time for a fry-up etc.

Although the FA are spinning it as a better time for all fans to watch the game, they're managing to also piss off most match goers I'd imagine, From a 3pm ko no away fans would get home nor would an awful lot of home fans. I only live about 5 miles from City and wouldn't be home by then and not all fans want to go on the piss etc.
