FA Cup 1969 semi final 45 min highlights

I was the world's worst for finding where the coaches were parked. If not for my mates, I'd probably still be wandering around Birmingham.

To their credit, Finglands only left me and my mate behind once... In Hull, earlier in the cup run iirc. We got a lift back from other Blues after searching in a few local pubs for anyone who'd stayed for a post match pint.

Happy times
I was at Hull won 1-0,but it was season after 69/70 then we got beat 3-0 at the Swamp.

After all these years, it's pretty much a blur of dates to me now mate!

I do remember us having about 7000 fans in one end at Hull, with even more bunking in over the railway fence. A group of about 300 Hull fans made an attempt to 'storm' our end before kick off, and we all laughed at them being sent back by a handful of coppers.

Daft things like that stick in my memory, but I can't even remember who we played in the FA Cup last season now!

“You are old, Father William, the young man said
And your hair is incredibly white,
And yet you continually stand on your head.
Do you think, at your age, it is right?”
