FA Cup 3rd Round Draw | Chelsea (H) | 4:30pm, Sun 8 Jan

Apart from 1981 of course.
Thumped Palace 4-0 in the third round after being 0-0 at HT
Then leathered Norwich 6-0 next round, when Bond tried to drop down from the directors box to console his lad Kevin in the tunnel
I assume it was only his mink coat and the cigars in his pocket that cushioned his fall and prevented him from shattering both ankles

Then Peterborough 1-0 (Tommy Booth).
Everton away and then home.
Ipswich at Villa Park (Paul Power free kick) .
A memorable cup run, I managed to get to them all in my Morris Ital company car (with my brother and his pal helping with fuel costs - £1 gallon in those halcyon days).

I honestly think there’s no bent draws in English football it was what is , it’s what’s what makes the FA cup special , love the draws love cup.
Hope we have a East stand , West stand discussion in April/ May.

Up the blues.

Certainly beats the cup run of 98/99 when we played Halifax in the first round, Darlington x 2 in the second and got beat by Wimbledon in the 3rd!

This is embarrassing, rags are taking the piss because we haven't sold out. Apparently there's loads available.

Ipswich were on for the double iirc, brilliant side, but that defeat to us broke their fragile hearts
