What did you all think of Adam Johnson? I got the impression city fans did not seem to like him when he at the club or at least he was not liked as much as James milner.
He was an excellent impact sub, but over 90 minutes he wasn't up to much. Diving little fucker as well.

"looking at that forum they seem to hate us lol"

Ha ha - I must admit that back in the mid-late 90's 'Boro were amongst my top 3 hated sides, with a rivalry on the pitch being trumped by events off it whenever we met. As DD said though, a lot of it went both ways though I seem to recall the 1990's spats coming about originally as a result of the league game at Maine Road in 1995 against a newly promoted 'Boro. A mob of their fans turned up at The Clarence at about ten to three when most City fans had already cleared off to the ground. After a bit of fun and games in there they made their way over to The Albert and, according to a 'Boro fan of all people writing in one of their fanzines who was down here as a guest of a couple of City fans, the landlord got a right kicking.

From then on over the next few years it was pretty much tit-for-tat but since we got up under Royle in 2000-01 a lot of the animosity has diminished and we've played them plenty of times in the meantime. Of course, with them bringing a big following coupled with the added edge of it being a cup tie, the potential for trouble will be higher than if it was a bog standard league game.

Me and my brother were in The Clarence when it kicked off. There was only us and few old blokes and kids in there. I was also in the North Stand with my Grandad when they came in the corner.

I don't know what I did to them.

By giong to man city i think he destroyed his potential he needed to either stay at boro or go elsewhere where hed get played week in week out and not just from the bench so that he go and fulfil his potential when boro fans watched him in the later premiership years and early championship he was fantastic to watch and enjoying his football when he played regularly better than downing in fact.

When they beat us 8-1. That was the day I decided Stephen Jordan was a lazy tw@t lol

I'll take that.

I'd back us at home against anyone so can't complain with that.

All I want now is a Sat KO. Last day of the beer festival at the Velodrome.

It want his lack of playing time, that was a media myth

It was his regular booze ups when he should have been concentrating on his career playing with some of the best talent in Europe
