My first proper away game ever. Just the 47 years wait for me. Done a few friendlies and plenty of Wemblies (if that’s the correct pluralisation).

There are a lot. I have lived down here for over 20 years.
We are also seeing the effects of City's re-emergence over the last 12 years. Kids have been wearing Sergio/Toure/Hart shirts and now you see Haalande and De Bryne.
A 10yo in 2011 who lives anywhere near the M25 will be all over this match.

There is also the availability. I have over 13k points, but I rarely even bother to look at the criteria for league matches outside London as it doesn't come down to my level. This kind of match is quite a distinct possibility, so I sense people have left the date free.
(The same can be said for the league cup and Champions league group matches).

I remember a few years back on the morning of an Old Trafford derby I was on United’s website. There were still a few tickets dotted around so I stuck about 10 in my basket. It wouldn’t have let me actually buy them unless I purchased memberships but at least it stopped any of the other fuckers buying them for a bit!
