FA Cup 5th Round Draw 2019 - Newport (a)

What's everyone worrying about this will be a 0-5. They will start like a house on fire for 4 mins, City will take the ball, keep possession, ware them out and score for fun.

Newport are looking st putting up a new temporary stand for this game to boost the crowd. They did something similar against Spurs but they would like even more in for City, if doable.

I'd love it if we offered to pay for a relaid pitch. The Media would go into a meltdown. Happened before with Spurs paying for a new surface at Rochdale last year although that was considered an altruistic gesture, with us I can see the headlines now: 'Moneybags City use their wealth to manipulate FA Cup tie' etc etc.

Even if it was laid today it wouldn't be ready for the game. Best we can hope for is a few dry days leading up to the game, no rugby being played on it and a roller being used.

Remember Burton away who are in a similar position in League 1 the score was 0 -1, so no guarantee of an easy game and the pitch will indeed a leveller and if we don't put the effort in work > talent sometimes in these games.
I'm confident that won't be the case under Pep. Newport are 25 League places lower than Burton. The Wigan game was a strange one, dominated posession, down to 10 men from Delphs Yellow turned Red (Cheers Alty), a glaring mistake that allowed the chance and they had 1 shot on target. What odds that happening again?
Something similar can easily happen.

Not necessarily Rochdales was laid and ready in 8 days, i quote from the BBC 10th Feb 2018 game played Sunday 18th Feb 2018. "Work will commence on Saturday evening and will be finished in time for next weekend's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Tottenham Hotspur."

Having said all that we should beat them on any surface, I just want to witness the whinging in the media.

I'd like to see a lineup along the lines of:

Muric, Danilo, Otamendi, Sandler, Zinchenko, Delph, Foden, Gundogan, Mahrez, Jesus, Sterling

I get some people wanting to play our best players, but that lineup should be plenty good enough to knock these out by a few goals

Just like we did to Wigan?
