FA Cup 5th round draw - Huddersfield Town (Away)

Needs looking into this loyalty point scheme coz I've got mates who give their season card number in at a supporters club who then use that to get tickets for every away game, my mate doesn't go to many away games yet still gets the loyalty points added to his season card as someone at the supporters club will have his ticket. It's a flawed system.

Isn't the issue there with the allocation to the Supporters Club and not the points system?
If they had no allocation they couldn't be giving them away to others.

How many supporters clubs are there. People go on and on about them.

If we have 100 clubs it means 400 tickets. The majority of those who get tickets will have enough points anyway so they only taking tickets they can get.

The % with low points getting a ticket will be low also.

No. I not a member of a supporters club.

Not sure on the intricacies of it, just know they use his season card number and the loyalty points get added to his card as if he's attended the game when he hasn't. How is anyone ever supposed to get tickets to away games. I've had a season ticket since the 91/92 season and now can't get tickets for local aways, sad times.

You could of gone to palace or west ham both went to open sale so the away games are there to go to and that's how you build your points.
Not having a go at you personally but too many fans moan they cant get Tickets for away games when infact they just want to pick and choose the games that appeal to them.

A large amount of these tickets will have gone to corporates, agencies & the world wide 'City family' fucking stinks, looks like away games are a thing of the past for a lot of us now no matter if we've got a lot of points, not even getting close now.

Couldn't go to either due to financial/work commitments, wish I could. 2 people I know have already got tickets for Huddersfield neither of which even bother to go to home games let alone have a season ticket....that's my problem with the loyalty points system.

The amount of tickets a supporters club gets allocated is proportionate to the size of the club. I've gone on a supporters club coach for the rags game and it's been a full coach load. Just totted up, and there are now 185 supporters clubs. If you average 10 tickets a branch, that's 1850, could be more than that, but it's a reasonable guesstimate. It's no wonder after comps have been given out there's very little left for your average match going season card holder. I could have got a ticket but my bro who has been going as long as me - 20 odd years - missed out as he doesn't do as many aways. Frustrating.
