As long as Josh is going, I'm happy!
It was an example to simplify what my point was. Don't really see why you've got a tit on about it as my point isn't aimed at you. You think it's a fair system that people don't attend games but still get the 'loyalty' points when others are attending on their ticket that's fine you're entitled to your opinion....I don't. End of story reallyThe simple fact that you don't even know how many points are awarded for away games puts a lot of holes in your opinion.
I love the people who rarely go who get the hump when they can't pick a game they want and begin to criticise the system.
I've missed four away games in total this season, and so I believe I have more of a right to a ticket for Huddersfield than you.
Ps for all four games I didn't buy a ticket and sell it on.
Fuckin ell it isn't flawed in a perfect world....it is however when people are buying tickets for loyalty points and not attending. Also how are the younger generations of fan's ever going to get to see city away when they'll never be able to build up enough points? Something will have to change sooner or later. How on earth is it a flawed system that those who regularly support the team away get priority for cup games ?
And of course the Supporters Clubs in Dallas, Hollywood and Sierra Leone are going to be sending ten members each to Huddersfield away. If that's a reasonable guesstimate you need to go back to school mate.
Much better for who?A ballot for all fans applying would be much better.
The supporters club debate is proof if ever it were needed that vested interests will lie through their teeth to protect their own cosy situation.
Anyone with half a brain who's ever been to a game like the rags away which sells out at high points that it is impossible that a large proportion had enough points to qualify legitimately. The amount of sub 20 year olds in attendance is enough to tell you that.
I took an 'average' some like Sierra Leone will be none some like p&w or hazel grove will likely get a full coach load so 10 across every branch won't be too far away. Our branch got 6 tickets our branch got 4 absolute bollox! If that's the sort of allocation reasonable size sc's got it would make the SC's redundant in their value.
If you want real evidence go and watch the number of coaches that will get escorted in convoy after the game in the coach park. It's there for you to see .
I've said it before and I will say it again sc's apply and get their ticket allocation before the tickets go on sale, so points don't even come into it, otherwise the club would have no idea how many tickets they have left to sell.
No one has a problem with a points based system if it is applied properly and the supporters clubs members should have to get their tickets through the same route as everyone else. If they then want to travel together then that's their prerogative and the point of an SC. it shouldn't be a way of cheating the loyalty points system as it is now.
And by the way I've been a member of a supporters club I know very well how it works.
Much better for who?
