FA Cup 5th round draw - Huddersfield Town (Away)

you are a fool if you mean that

Give everyone an equal chance. Not based on age. A 16 year old has the same chance as a 60 year old. Some criteria such as season ticket holder etc but current system basically allows older fans priorty over younger.

Also with a ballot you apply for a certain number of tickets, you either get them or not. So a family of 4 can apply and not have to worry whether their 16 year old will get one when they are certain to because they have 20 years of points whilst their kids only have a few.

I know why the established elite feel they deserve a ticket because they have done the "hard miles" but to me, being old enough to earn more points than a younger fan isn't a fair representation. I appreciate where you are at though. Don't get me wrong brother.

Because platinum has skewed the system.

I worked away for a couple of years, but kept my ticket that my brother used (financially he was screwed at the time)
When I returned I took the ticket back over and he got a new seasin card (2007) l.
Since platinum came along he has beeen on it, he now has more points than me because of the doubling up, basically he has bought loyalty points to catch up (I dont bemoan this as while I was away he racked lots of points ony card).

So since platinum the loyalty point system is a sham, the whole thing need overhauling.

Yep. Money for "loyalty" isn't really how it works.

How about a points system. Those that have enough points get a ticket, those that don't have enough, too bad(I include myself in this).
Scrap the sc allocation, if the sc has enough with a ticket, they arrange transport. Simples
Why not keep the supporters club allocation and scrap the corporate and players allocation, simples.

Been to Swansea twice this season, Bournemouth soon and Sunderland shortly, missed out on Hull just, but getting frustrated at knowing when am likely to get tickets or not.. pissed off missed Huddersfield by 30 points having been to Norwich, Villa , Chelsea last year and Palace, W Ham this.. just my twopennyworth...
To miss out on 30 points is very unlucky.

Loyalty points need to be on a 4 or 5 year rolling total, that way the fans that always go get rewarded.
I am only on just over 10k (should be a lot more but binned season ticket/ membership for a while after health issues) but don't moan when more deserving Blues get tickets ahead of me.
I will, however, use all avenues to get tickets, including a supporters club.
