A good implementation of VAR ends all officiating related corruption.
Unfortunately, the implementation we are getting (still giving the referee all the power, creating the standard of “clear and obvious error” in regards to the original call, effectively negating the benefits of VAR) only aids the powers that be to influence or outright manipulate matches and legitimise the questionable decisions.
Vienna, you and I usually see things the same way and agree on most points. To be fair, Tom only moved his arm very slightly.
I didn’t think it was a penalty on first viewing and having seen it on several angles since, I can understand why it wasn’t given.

Which is why I feel comfortable saying this: put down that fifth pint and get yourself some water. The drink is starting to affect your vision as much as your cognitive function. ;-)

It didn’t matter in the end; the rags are potless and I fucking love it!
His hand was parallel as the ball was struck and perpendicular when it struck his arm, that's a movement towards the ball.Terrible decision and he (Oliver) was looking right at it,looked to me his arm also moved towards the ball ever so slightly how var didn’t give that as a pen says it all about how they can still effect games ..
