I know but selling the tickets electronically like the club do takes almost no effort.

I have just had confirmation from the FA that I have got a ticket. However, they did seem to indicate that these tickets may be the last as they are tightening up on criteria to apply for them. I retired from reffing 8 years ago and somehow still qualify. It's not right but I'll take what I can get.

The referee’s association I used to belong to, are offered the chance to apply for two sets of two tickets each season.

They were offered firstly to any member who had either attended or given apologies at every single monthly meeting throughout the season.

The vast majority of those were retired referees. Assessors, administrators, or just people who wanted to stay involved in football in some small way.

As I’ve said previously, I’ve no problem with organisations like that getting a chance to send a couple of members to the FAs showpiece game.

I accept that some tickets for games should go to OSCs but it should be limited. SSTH's especially long standing ones should get priority.

I object to the numbers of tickets that seem

to be going to OSCs.

Every rag I talk to is absolutely shitting themselves, they think it could be a cricket score, I hope so, if their is a god I hope we embarrass them and whiskey nose is there to witness it.

It's a lame excuse, but that's my thoughts behind it too.

I don't necessarily agree that everybody in each OSC should have to be a season ticket holder to request a ticket. There should however be a requirement of a few fixtures as a bare minimum. Say 5-10 games over the course of the season. People requesting them with less than that should be refused point blank. It's only leading to more and more resentment of the OSC's and there's some really decent people in them.

I know two people from an OSC requested tickets and have no intention of going there being passed on probably at a profit.
