The 'big names' simply didn't turn up when it mattered.

They let every City fan down very badly today. I wouldn't be surprised if no-one bothers to turn up for the parade tomorrow. The players didn't bother today.

Also, given how shit we were on the day basically they've won that by the margin of a comedy (might as well have been) own goal...

Fair fucks to them first half. They went man to man...didn't let us breathe and then countered on the transition with devastating effect. Tin Pot obviously used the Villa away game as the blueprint as they too totally nullified us whilst cutting us up on the breakaway. We were much better second half but the long season caught up with us and we just couldn't get the equaliser.

Walker - sleeping for their 2nd
Stones - a frankly appalling performance from start to finish, got outpaced after 30 seconds down the middle and things didn't get any better after...terrible shot 2nd half
Ake - poor
Gavrdiol - not his usual dangerous self
Kova - did okay, Surprised to see him taken off
Rodri - not great
Phil - very disappointing...one great pass all match which should have led to a goal
Bernardo - couldn't find a City player with any cross, not his best match
Haaland - weak, invisible, another poor performance...getting outmuscled by 5ft 6 Utd players....come on
Kev - didn''t make a pass all match and spent most of the 1st half getting in Phil's way
Doku - outstanding....
Alvarez - abysmal sub performance, this guy has gone backwards this season since January
Akanji - not great either, ridiculous shot late on (as did Stones)

On Pep for the 1st half shit show perhaps?... changing both CB's from a. successful winning run was plain weird and we paid for it as we were wide open in the first half
Much better 2nd half when Doku was on but not enough.
Still, we all need a good rest after another stressful season.....hopefully some decent signings in the summer to refresh things and we go again

Bad day at the office after becoming 4-in-row champions.

Sometimes you don’t realise everything someone brings to the table until they’re gone. Ederson’s relaxed attitude helps to stop panic at the back.

Pep messed up changing both centre backs. Akanji and Dias are in their best form of the season whilst players like Stones haven't started for 5 weeks.

The players getting absolutely hammered the week of the final wasn't a good look and was a concern of mine considering how tight sport is at the elite level. Image a pro boxer getting that pissed the week of a title fight.

That performance from KDB had been bubbling for a while. Apart from the couple of games he had in January, he's been far from his best form since.

Alverez's finishing has dropped off a lot since last season. Can't really afford to be missing chances like he did in the second half especially when trying to earn a place in the team. Not sure on the floated corners either.

Obviously very disappointed to lose to United but can't be too downhearted since I'd have been blown away with a 4th title in a row if offered at the start of the season. Also, if we were going to lose a final against them, at least it wasn't the one on the way to the treble.

Alvarez off form for a long time. Would have been better with Bobb?

4peat is incredible but not showing up in a cup final against our rivals, who are so incredibly shit even relegation sides create chances against them for fun, is tough to take. Cant win everything but we should be able to at least expect the team to turn up in a derby final and not play like they are all drunk. Shocking.
