FA Cup Games | Quarter-Finals | 18/19 March '23

First half penalty for Fulham not even reviewed and, the first time he was involved Antony kicked Antonee Robinson and that wasn't even reviewed. Yes Fulham imploded completely and we can agree that is stupidly unprofessional, but we also agree they were cheayed out of the game, many other clubs can understand the frustration that provoked the implosion but we can all see that the rags were clearly second best today as they have been many times recently. And it isn't team spirit or "their DNA" or any other such rubbish which fishes them out of the mire time and time again.

No way was that deliberate. As WillIan ran across the front of the goal towards to cover the near post from Sancho shooting, his arm was stretched out, he realises as Sancho pulls the trigger that his arm is outstretched and the ball may hit it, so he pulls his arm into his body but the ball hits his arm in the tucked in position. If he leaves his arm outstretched the ball hits his body around the chest. No red in my opinion. Not even a penalty unless against City of course.

Give over.. he moved his arm towards the ball.. he knew exactly what he was doing.. it was a stone wall pen and red card.. watch it again.. he moves his arm towards the ball as his knee isn’t reaching it.

Where's his statue?

How can you have a competition with different rules according to what ground the match is played on. If Man Ure had been away at a Championship ground, there would have been no VAR. Willan definitely handled the ball and prevented a goal, but without VAR there would have been no review, so the referee’s decision would have stood. Then to add to the stupidity, he is given a red card because the ball hit his hand. A few years ago the handball preventing a goal had to be deliberate to earn a red, and this was no way deliberate. VAR is the death of football. I attended an under-13 football match this morning, much more entertaining, the skills were nowhere near Top level, refs and linesmen made mistakes, but it was far more entertaining than Premier League or FA Cup games managed by VAR. might as well run a computer model based on biometrics
