Sheffield United are nothing without Doyle and McAtee, they're top quality. I can't imagine either of them being allowed to go on loan again next season, they'll be in our first team squad.

If Sheffield do come up next season they'll have to spend an absolute fortune on new players to have any chance of staying up.

Didn't listen to the commentary but is there any sense whatsoever in which he can be given the leeway on it, i.e. could what he said be interpreted along the lines of “They'll be looking down smiling on him”? What were his exact words?

You don't think it's a mistake? So you're suggesting he's deliberately acting as if the deceased are still alive? For what purpose? Of course it's a mistake, I'd expect him to be aware if he's going to bring them up, its poor preperation but it's hardly crime of the century.

Scousers haven’t half rubbed off on our fanbase. We say we hate them and then start acting just like them.

We must all always be outraged about everything ever said about our club!
