It’s nice of him to mention it full stop in my opinion. There are other commentators who wouldn’t even mention he was our player on loan never mind admit that City have got history.
 
What a great cup tie,and VAR was in place and really only used for the handball which actually makes a change from the constant stop start we can normally get with it ..

It's just a mistake admittedly but just don't understand why he wasn't quickly informed by ITV..

Shouldn't professional commentators do thorough research, though? To avoid clangers like the one he's dropped? Twice. I'm sure he wasn't setting out to be offensive. But it's crass.
 
Nice technique from Doyle for the goal. Keeper should be saving that though.
Pleased for him and mcatee thought. Both seem nice genuine lads.
Harsh as it may seem neither will be making it here though.
