People will say it's arrogant to think we're already in the semi but I imagine pretty much anyone who knows their stuff would expect us to beat barnsley at home without too much trouble

Agreed. Not a question of being arrogant. We need to take them seriously and treat them with respect. But we shouldn't be afraid of them (or anybody, for that matter). On our day, only shown fleetingly this season unfortunately, we are able to beat anybody in the league. If our XI go out and perform to something close to their ''A'' game level, we would expect to beat Barnsley.

Not had chance to read the entire thread, but am looking forward to reading the opinions of the agenda/conspiracy theorists in the morning.

I'm in neither camp, but I don't think a vaguely easy game for City in a cup draw disproves all notions of corruption/cheating etc since the dawn of time.

I know it is dangerous. Just booked flight and hotel for the semi-final weekend in London. Arrival saturday early morning. Back to Germany on Monday. 200 EUR is not a bad price I think. We just have to qualify...

Think It's safe to assume city will beat Barnsley.

We were only in second gear today, IMHO, and we beat Leeds easily.

And Leeds are currently ten places higher in their division than Barnsley.

As you said, we have to treat them with respect, as we did Leeds, but all things being equal, we really should expect to reach the semi-finals without too much trouble.
