FA Cup R3 - Port Vale (H) - Sat 04/01 - 5:31pm

Loads of lower division clubs take bigger followings to FA Cup away games against plum opposition than their average home attendance. Why should Vale be any different and why should we mock them for it?
Remember Gillingham at Wembley when half of Kent had a day trip to London?

We are treating it as a celebration, to celebrate the "new era" under the new owners. We are finally a club on the up, better players and better football being played. We will probably bring 7000-8000 true football fans all in party mood.
Great stuff hope you all have a great day and that there is no cup upset as we upset enough at the minute

But they could quite easily be Liverpool, Man Utd or even Stoke fans but they chose to support the Vale.

I take your point but he's just proud of his side. Vale will hardly be alone in getting a huge support in the FA Cup and small crowds in the league. It's their day.

Immensely proud, 6 months ago we nearly didnt have a club with our owner setting a date to put us in administration. We worked really hard with protests and marches and did eventually get rid of the tosser.
Now we have our club back....

Glad to hear it.

My Dad used to blame a Port Vale fan in the family for making support City. He always used to tease me about City (this was many years ago when Utd were ruling the show) and of course it made me more of a City fan. Now of course supporting City feels like a blessing rather than curse. Man City fans had got to the point under Peter Swales where our relationship woth the club was half love half hate.

Not a big fan of your rivals Stoke. You will have enjoyed our Cup Final win against them a few years ago.
