FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

The club should absolutely be subsiding prices. Its ludicrous that in the space of two weeks we're expected to pay £300 for a semi final and then another £80 for a quarter final CL tie.

Also instead of taking the piss, rival fans need to give their collective heads a wobble and realise that prices are borderline ridiculous, and taking the piss doesn't help the situation.

My season ticket costs £65 a month. I like to have a few pints before and after every game so each game in essence costs me another £40. I dont have the cash to afford these mega prices.

We don't have the support of a United or a Liverpool and the club need to recognize this. We also dont have the London factor.

They are if you travel by official coach, mate.

I was looking a few days ago and I am pretty sure I found coach travel London-Manchester for £20. It was £28 by National Express. This is from memory so not 100% certain but if there is a subsidy, it isn't much.

Said it before and I will say it again the ticket prices are way too expensive. Odd how the premier league clubs agree a cap on away tickets yet as soon as the semi finals and finals come along with the FA involved that goes out of the window. There is so much money involved in football that to reduce the cost of all these tickets by 50% is a drop in the ocean.

Don’t see why the club should subsidise tickets but they should help make travel easier. The FA need to get their head out of their arses on prices and that’s where the real issue lies. Fans clearly thinking ahead with other equally as big games to come..

Even £10 or £15 helps a bit. Some of the FA’s prices are a rip off but why should a city foot the bill.

Blues are also being helped with cheaper tickets for Cardiff at home (which I realise is unpopular with some fans).

i suppose big difference is its going to and leaving from Wembley

Totally agree about the ticket prices, but there are loads of cheap tickets left, that suggests lack of demand rather than cost. The club should stimulate sales by offering a deal with either Cardiff tickets or the champions League tickets . The club can send a million surveys yet never seen to understand our fanbase, these sales show that nationally our fan base has barely grown, and no one is taking up the slack

And how does it do that

Totally agree. The size of the respective fanbases of United and Liverpool mask a problem that affects fans of every club including those two. Does anyone seriously believe that the average match-going United and Liverpool fan is less fickle and more loyal than the average match-going City fan? Those fans would face the same choices as we do if they were in the same situation as we are now where we're looking at potentially the most expensive run of fixtures that any set of fans in this country has ever experienced before. The difference is, as you say, if 10,000 regular match-goers of either of those clubs decided to sack off the FA Cup semi-final in favour of saving up for a potential final and a potential CL final to boot, then there's more than enough fans of either club who could step in and take up the slack.
