Still a piss poor attitude to regard an FA cup semi final as not a big enough game to bother with. And as for having been there and done it my own record supporting City is not too shabby either. I just don't feel the need to brag about it

Understand that fully,but does not excuse the other 30 thousand who wont be able to make these away games who use it as an excuse and really cant be srsed.

We had a good loyal support with 40k averages on the run up to HRH buying us but thats no good if we are outnumbered by a club like Brighton on Sat.

This team deserves better I believe, sorry if that hurts someones feelings.

Spot on lads. It's difficult for people to attend every game. I won't be at the game tonight I'd have to take two days off work just to go tonight, I'll be there Saturday against Brighton it's costing me a lot of money getting flights, hotel, ticket, spending money ect Plus I've a holiday to pay off and the missus feels like killing me :)

You wont hurt my feelings mate .Am watching it in the house with my family .Would have cost a fortune for us all to go to Wembley

I think it was more the bit about Brighton sticking 11 men behind the ball that stood out for me. There are many fans with genuine enough reasons for not attending this game but I doubt anyone else is using how the opposition might set up as being the reason for not going. Brighton could have their whole 35,000 following behind the ball for all I care but to use it as an excuse not to go and also as a stick to beat the opposition with when they don't have anything like the resources at their disposal that we have smacks of sheer arrogance. Brighton are entitled to set up how they fucking want and it's not like we've not got used to watching teams adopt a safety first approach against us over the past few years. It is what it is.

As he said, he's put in the hard yards down the years so you can't knock that side of it.

That said, I think watching City on over 60 grounds during a 43 years spell is a bit of a shite record tbh. I've got less years than that of following City under my belt and I've seen us on over 100 grounds ;)
