FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

Not really bothered who we get to be honest, but would rather avoid Millwall as I’ll be taking my lad and it could be a bit feisty!

Wolves at Molineux is different than Wolves at Wembley ... any of the four left would be heading to Wembley in awe ... big pitch, big game experience, Wembley familiarity (almost becoming a second home for us now) and biggest of all Pep in charge all go in our favour whoever we get ... an easy game as in score being 2-0 or 3-0 up in first half would just mean mentally it doesn't take much out during a tough April fixtures list ... in six days days prior to the semi we'd have played Fulham away and Cardiff at home and then three days after the semi would be the first leg of CL QF against Spurs at the new White Hart Lane ... so if game develops a pattern like yesterday would take a lot on our players mentally ... easy smooth sailing game when we hit them early would be ideal in the overall run.

So we'll only have to play 1 more FA cup game before our PL and CL campaigns end (unless we reach the final)?

That's not too bad in terms of fixtures congestion.

Whoever we play, I would like to see the strongest team from the start. Hopefully put the game to bed and then make the changes, not the other way around. Yes we have strength in depth but some of the players definitely weaken us more than others at the minute and chasing a game on a big pitch like Wembley is going to drain us much more physically and mentally at a key moment in the season. It'll be tough whoever we play, just like every other game we have between now and the end of the season but Pep won't let them rest on their laurels. The vultures (media) are circling, their keyboards primed and ready to send 'Quadruple Quashed' to get their clicks, but Pep has made his point very clear, one game at a time, just one game at a time and let's see where that takes us. Enjoy the ride.

Yeah, FA Cup and Premier League are scheduled to allow teams to compete in both with minimal disruption, it's the League Cup and CL that cause real congestion, as well as the ludicrous amount of international breaks.

Watford
Wolves
Millwall.

On footballing grounds you'd pick Millwall, but with fans travelling to the game in mind I'd be happiest if we drew Watford.
