Well, I've listened to Axel and I've booked the Megabus. It's to be hoped it's not a 12.30 kick off otherwise I'll miss the match, mind you I hope its not a 5.30 kick off as I will have to sleep in the bus station as I can't get one home. At least I've saved £15.

Have you not ? Road users be they coach or car or minibus are in the vast majority and they’re not selfishly clogging up threads with their woe is me first world problems like you are.

Anybody fortunate enough to be catching a train to London is comparatively affluent.

Have you stoped for a minute to consider anyone’s circumstances other than your own ? You have such a selfish attitude to this issue.
Fuckinell, seriously.

Running a car is considered affluent by many that can't afford to.

If City haven't been told how can they tell us ?

City ARE canvassing for the earliest ko possible.

They are staying in Hertfordshire after overnighting in Munich.

The FA are guilty of a dereliction of duty !!
Just wondering how you know the Club ARE canvassing for an early kick off.

As far as I am able to ascertain the Club have been completely silent on this issue since the draw was made. I have no doubt the Club monitor this forum and others like it and must be very aware of the frustration levels of the fans. I would have thought the very least the Club could do is tell us why no decision has been made yet and what the issues are.

I have taken a chance on booking the train for the 22nd and can comfortably make it for any kick off after 2pm. If the game starts at 12.30 I will be £70 out of pocket and will not be paying again to take an earlier train. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

If you can afford the train apparently you are affluent, so £70 will be loose change for you...

You and me both mate.

Is that the 22.00 from London that arrives in Doncaster after 23.45? Their last direct train back is the 21:31 that arrives in Sheffield at 23:34. The one before that is 20.30 which they will be hard pushed to catch if the game goes to extra time and penalties. In fact they have no chance if it's a 5.30ko.
There is a Charter from Sheffield to Wembley Central, obvs aimed at Blades but not exclusive

£120 is a bit steep but that is what these things cost nowadays

Fair dues to all thinking of travelling down. It's all part of the City experience and good luck with the journey. Have done Megabus a few years ago when there were no trains from Yorkshire and it weren't too bad. As with most things, it is what you make of it and there are worse things to do in life than watch City away. All we need now is a kick off time and we're laughing!
