That's what I'm trying to work out...

Surely City will put the clubs own interest of winning trophies above our own loan players "getting experience" and potentially knocking us out in a semi final. We all want our loan players, especially two local lads, to be successful. But it obviously cant be at the clubs expense, the conversation to strengthen our opponents in a semi final, right between Bayern and Arsenal, is a non starter. Will not, and should not happen.

Our run of fixtures is -

Liverpool
Southampton (a)
Bayern
Leicester City
Bayern (a)
Sheffield United (n)
Brighton (a)
Arsenal

Frankly, the reason we've only won 1 FA Cup under Pep is we always lose the semi-finals when rotating because of the massive league and CL games around them.

It would be dereliction of duty for Begiristain to not take Sheffield United's 2 best players out given the chance.

There are some mad City fans on this thread.

Because they're Blues (especially Tommy), why wouldn't you want to them to play at Wembley, albeit a semi rather than a final.
