They're football players with relatively short careers. I don't know the loan rules personally, but many in this thread have said they can't play whether we're happy with it or not. I'm just gutted they'll miss out on the biggest match of their young careers so far, especially because they've helped Sheffield achieve this feat.

As for Roberts, rules is rules & we should have defended better. Also, where's he now?

Different rules we dont make the rules in either comp, don't care anyway sheffield not being to start them 2 weakens them so it's good for us.

No they can't, it's not up to City. A lot of posts on here are quoting the old rules.

Shame they can't play but it's about City progressing and we've loaned them out and the rules prevent them playing against us so that's the way it is. Hopefully they'll both have great careers, with City ideally, so get to live the moment in the future.

The game shouldn't be at Wembley, it's a semi-final so it's not as big as people are making out anyway. Only the final should be at Wembley, and if they beat us then there's a chance they get to play in that still so no need to be too sad for them yet!

Well I'm not able to go due to a work gig in York that weekend. I'd have not been going tothe semi there anyway unless we'd got the rags.

I'll be hoping for a Sunday so I can watch it delayed live when home about 21.00. If Saturday hopefully 17.30 so I can get to a pub in time to watch it.
