James has got back to me. Wealdstone have a fixture on the Saturday and the police won’t let them host 2 events unfortunately. But we can use them IF we get to the final.
If?

;-)

Thanks for the info. "If"we get to the final, I'll be heading out there. The Green Man is a bit manic for me.

We have been spoilt rotten haven't we? We'd have sold these allocations twice over back in the day. In saying that, I don't criticise people staying away, it's their choice and money. Semi finals at wembley are shite, pure greed and against tradition of a neutral ground.

I'll be there though, i can't say no.
I'm the same, years and years with hardly a sniff at Wembley i take every opportunity i can now,
just in case it ever ceases again,
I'm lucky though that financially i can do that, older now and kids grown up and pay for themselves.
price of all of it now must be tough for people with families and the price of everything nowadays.

Usually about 33,000 each

Think we only sold 26,000 against Liverpool last season and less against Brighton in 2019. So anyone who wants a ticket for this will get one, maybe even a few.
We sold over 30,000 for the Liverpool game last season in the end which, IMO, wasn't a bad effort considering it was Easter weekend and there were no trains on the West Coast mainline due to engineering works. Brighton was a lower turnout in 2019 but the games were coming thick and fast then, plus the Wembley novelty had worn off for some fans.

Ticket demand is higher this season so I expect us to sell the 33,000 or so that we're given

Last train back to Manchester is 9.00pm, back to Sheffield is 9.30. Hopefully the powers that be take that into account and make it a sensible ko time and not a late one. Fed up of having to rush back to catch the only available train.

I think people might be surprised how many we shift. The haaland factor has defo heightened interest and I'd imagine a lot of our new tourist fans will be itching to get to Wembley
Spot on. Last season it was surprising how few tickets sold when they were on sale to season ticket holders only, and how many sold when it was extended to members. My take on that is that many ST holders have been to loads of games at Wembley and the novelty factor has worn off for some, whereas members who might not normally get a chance of one will be keen to go.

Trouble is, due to the 3pm blackout the game can't kick off any earlier than 5.15 pm unless they make it a lunchtime kick-off
