Is it true City are paying the majority of the wages for the two loan players ? It becomes very dodgy if they do play and underperform , get a red card or miss a sitter, it certainly could cast a shadow over whatever integrity is left in the modern game .

They can’t play.

Been told London marathon same weekend as the semi finals so trains hotels probably be busy.

The semis quite often clash with the London marathon. Can’t say I’ve noticed any real difference in the years it does and it doesn’t.

Going off my dodgy memory here but apart from last year when there were no trains at all we usually seem to be the Sunday semi.

It’s hard to predict the trains these days but there’s usually a lot more options for getting down on a Saturday than a Sunday. Although coming back there are actually slightly better options on a Sunday night. So I suppose it offsets. I always feel it’s a lot more likely that things on the railways turn to shit on a Sunday though. But maybe that’s just my own bad experiences.

Sold 32000 last year, 28500 v brighton, seems a fair bit of interest in this one, people seem keener than against Liverpool
As a tourist/day tripper myself the possible high ticket price puts me off. I'd rather go to the Etihad than watch from the nosebleed seats at Wembley. Would think there'd be no shortage of punters wanting to see Haaland to take up the slack though.
