Yeah. Was doubtful we'd come close to selling out but I guess today will be the clearest indication, assume lots of people on the system will be buying added tickets.

They’ve got the queue management software up on the website so they are expecting some activity today, specially if most people have just been paid.

If you've not already booked that route, Manc - Leeds/Leeds - Kings Cross and vice versa should be quicker, a little cheaper, and gives you more options to get back to Manchester when arriving back in Leeds. The one downside is that there is a TP Express strike scheduled for that day which will limit services but they're expecting some still to be running, plus Northern run trains to Leeds from Victoriajust got 2 tickets, row 9 114 £45 each not too bad!
also been looking at the trains and it is doable.
Picc to Chesterfield on east midlands train then chesterfield into St Pancras for 12:08
way back is a bit more messing around but doable.
St Pancras 19:35 to Leicester , Leicester to Nuneaton, Nuneaton to Picc for 22:50
worse case and miss the train back there is still a megaBus back to Manc at 22:30 which gets there just after 02:30am

Looks like loads will shift this morning, and I suspect plenty will go this afternoon too when the criteria opens up further. Non season ticket holders will be taking up a lot of the slack and putting some of my season ticket holding mates to shame!26 minutes!
