Yep if you avoid Zone 1 and are using your bank card/contactless instead of the hugely expensive paper tube tickets, you tap your card on the Pink scanner/reader (rather than the yellow one) when you transfer. And it is not only quicker but miles cheaper, about a quarter of the price

Anyone else thinking of flying to Heathrow? I’ve booked the 7am BA flight from Ringway Sat morning. Bit pricey (c.£150 return when I booked it) but it gets you down there quickly and (hopefully) might avoid a load of faff. There’s a flight back well after full time (and ET and pens if it goes that far). Just a thought.

Daft question but are you logged in? Seems odd that as it appears loads have sold since 9am when it went to Cityzens
