If he is like me and thousands of others he will be critical of City

All people are saying is that City have been slow

City being slow to sell these tickets, fact

These are three snippets from your posts Peter.evans
You clearly did/do blame the club, and now you are back tracking

If you are not trolling you are just stupid

again people have no idea.

city haven't been slow, they have been careful. if they let people apply with a broader points band the system would crash. the queues waiting to get through would be horrendous. it has to be a dripping tap process but kept in mind how soon the final comes about.

I have two questions for the moaners.

1, would you rather queue round the stadium at daft oclock?

2, would you prefer a ballot like the rags do?

no neither would I so lets just stand back , enjoy the fact that we a re now good, and let people do their jobs.

Well said Bill!!!

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

Cup finals and major away matches will always leave some fans on the outside looking in and quite a bit of discord in their wake.

We have got 36k season ticket holders and around another 7k fans at least who regularly go to home matches. Most final allocations are around 26k maximum so a lot of fans are going to miss out.

Prior to the season it was stated that in the event of us reaching semi final and/or finals of any of the cups, then priority would be given to fans who joined the cup schemes.I did,as i have since missing out against Stoke,in spite of me having more points than some people on the cup scheme at the time.In spite of this i still had to wait 3 days until i became eligible to apply, although as there were less than 26k on the cup scheme i was confident of getting a ticket.

I think the club have handled it fairly well and swiftly.I bought my ticket on Saturday and it was at my house on Wednesday.I really feel for anyone who misses out as i have been there but i think the club did it the fairest way they could.

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

Don't think it will sell out tomorrow. Maybe over the weekend depending on how much City relax the criteria

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

5 of us but only 3 eligible until weekend (I'm guessing City will drop the criteria by then but as yet no announcement). Squeaky bum time and gonna get the first 3 now and the other 2 later. There looks to be loads left at £115 not as many £85's. Can't decide what to do, £115 x 3 is a shedload of money but probably my best ever chance of getting tickets so good.

Well said that man.

I've had my own little hissy fits about the cup scheme but we all knew the rules when we bought our season tickets. Hopefully I'll get one on Saturday, if not I'll have to scramble around for one.

It's hard to see how City could have handled things any better

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

City had x number of tickets and y number of people wanted them. So, they put them on sale all on the same day to all and sundry. The internet crashed, the telephone system went down and the Bluemoaners started..................... oh, you're now telling me that didn't happen? So why the heck are so many people moaning?

City have done their very best to get the tickets sorted fairly. If you weren't on the Cup scheme for whatever reason that is not City's fault. I appreciate that some people can't join the Cup scheme for work/distance reasons but you cannot blame City for that. They have done their best to be as fair as possible and, as de niro rightly pointed out, they had to release them in a 'drip feed' manner because it was the only way to create a manageable work load for the people in the ticket office.

Come on folks what did you expect them to do? Use the scenario I wrote about in my opening paragraph? Be reasonable, they have done their best.
