FA CUP Ticket information-SOLD OUT 17:40

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

I'm willing to bet Wigan will drop the purchase history policy after today, got a mate who's a season ticket holder & he was told he could get upto 4 on each ticket! He has 3 tickets so could of got 12 if he'd wanted. They're desperate to shift them as it seems Wigan fans are not very confident in beating us (I think it'll be a harder game than most are thinking) so don't really wanna fork out the money getting there to see a defeat. Either way I can see a lot of blues hounding Wigan for tickets.

It's ironic that the money saved by people not joining the cup scheme will have to be used to buy the most expensive tickets instead of the cheaper ones. I think there'll be a much larger uptake of the scheme next year.

I'm not on the cup scheme & got two £45 tickets, took 5mins on line yesterday. Piece of piss. I won't join te cup scheme next season either & I'd be willing to bet I'd get a ticket to any final we get too.

I wouldnt be too sure... this is an unusual FA Cup final. wigan have sold very few tickets and are an unusual case. Im willing to bet, every other team in the PREM and the vast majority in Div 1 would bring more than they have. If we played Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesboro, Leeds, Sheffield clubs, Swansea, Cardiff, Everton, Liverpool, Rags, Birmingham, Villa, or any of the London clubs, we would not have got extra tickets. This has eased the pain of getting a ticket this time, along with the low take up from Neutrals.

Just heard on the Radio chelsea fans are only getting 10000 tickets for the UEFA final... If that was us, half the Cup Schemem members now wouldnt get a ticket to a final, when you account for lost tickets to sponsors/SC/Players....

Read my subsequent replies... It's not what you know but who. I've no need to go on the cup scheme, I'm more than confident of getting tickets. Got mine yesterday with no hassle without calling in favours or using contacts etc.

I fully agree that Wigan will be a hard match. It's the biggest in their history and they'll have good will behind them from those who cheer for the underdog. If I was a Wigan fan then I wouldn't let facing City from stopping me going. It's the day out.
