FA CUP Ticket information-SOLD OUT 17:40

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

Example;

1 fan buys season ticket

1 fan goes every home game, pays match by match.

Away tickets go on sale, who gets first dibs?

Season ticket holder, nobody complaining that it is unfair.

Same as a season ticket holder deciding not to join the cup scheme in my view.

Anyone who has a season ticket at city obviously has some disposable income. Why wouldn't any of these people be able to get a credit card?

No offence, but how old are you?

I'm 30.

Now are you going to tell me why these season ticket holders cannot get a credit card just to use for cup tickets when they might not have money in their current account?

Or are you going to ask me another question that has nothing to do with my question. Or imply that I don't live in the real world for the third time.

Some people can't get a credit card because of bad credit history, or a bad record of payments. Others can get a credit card but realise that even if you buy something on a credit card to still have to pay for it (and the interest that you incur).

In 30 also mate,

And due to crap finances 3 years ago my credit rating is still shocking despite being back on my feet financially and having a few quid in bank I still cannot get a credit card,

I have been rejected by likes of vanquish, capital one, in fact all the poor lenders!
Don't need one but wanted to use it to get my rating back up!

So no not everyone can get a credit card!

And I'm not debating cup scheme or not, I'm in it (debut card payments) and my tickets on my fireplace,

Just wanted to show that you were wrong, not everyone can get a credit card or indeed wants one

What a bunch of joyless souls we have in this thread.

We're in the FA Cup Final - stop moaning and ENJOY

Or discuss the policy of the football club we support on a forum designed for discussion on the football club. Whats wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with that debate mate, but the thread is about FA Cup information, not club policy with regard to ticket distribution, Cup Schemes and whether or not the whole population has a credit card.

I log into this thread because I want ticket information about a pretty important game of football, not a bun fight over how shit or not our ticket office is..

But they are the people who took the gamble and attended the earlier rounds on the present years FA cup, ffs some of our fans need to get real and smell the coffee!

Fed up of the moaning about this shit now

I don't agree that first year season tickets should be able to "gamble" to get priority over long serving supporters. I don't see why there is a problem with discussing whether this is a good thing or not.

If you're fed up moaning, I'm sure there's other threads to click on.
To be honest mate if you get a season ticket I can't see any reason you don't join the cup scheme, other than you don't want to go to cup ties.

I had money to buy the season ticket, but couldn't guarantee that I would have any money to pay for cup tickets when the games came around.

Like I said previously there are credit cards for people with a bad credit history and a record of not paying. I have one , it has a massive APR on it.

When A cup ticket goes on sale sometimes my current account is empty. So £20 goes on the credit card and gets paid off when I get paid. No interest charge as it is paid within a month.

www.aquacard.co.uk - these fuckers will give one to anyone they only gave me a £500 limit but you don't even need that to buy a cup ticket.

Your argument can't be that they can't afford the £20, how the fuck are they expecting to go Wembley if they can't find the odd £20 a few times a season.

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

I may be missing something but I'm not really sure what the fuss is?

It's looking like the only season tickets who will miss out will be below 3000 points - not exactly long termers!

I was a Chelsea fan until last May and I've got nearly that many

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

are we going to make tomorrow with whats left ? i would have thought those getting a ticket today would have applied by now

Times are hard and I'm not suggesting how people should spend their money but City charged less for 3 home cup ties than a Cat 2 semi final ticket at Wembley. Now people who didn't join the cup scheme are up in arms about Wembley tickets that cost fortunes.

Many people don't buy season tickets because they can't afford them but I haven't heard anyone moaning about season ticket holders getting priority for cup final tickets.

Time to wake up and face the facts that season ticket holders with the cup scheme membership get priority over season ticket holders who don't. Same as season ticket holders get priority over Blue Membership
