fast becoming the fa cup final that took fans for granted, the lack of communication is appalling from all parties.

the want people to support the competition, but 10 days before the event, thousands of people are clueless as to whether they will get tickets.

There are nigh on 20k season ticket holders who do not know what the score is re obtaining tickets after tomorrow with only 10 days to go before matchday. Additionally, there are a lot of families/friends that will still be in limbo on their travel arrangements until they know how many of them will get sorted with tickets.

Why do City phase their ticket sales so slowly? If we 'only' have 17,000 Cup Scheme members, couldn't these have all gone on sale at the same time, with say a window of 4 days, rather than staggering them all out over an entire week?

And given that Wigan put their tickets on sale 3 days before City, we could presumably be well into the non-Cup Scheme season ticket holders by now and into the Blue members by Fri/Sat this week.

Just rung up the ticket office to find out if we have been given more tickets-the lad i spoke to said we now have approx 30000 tickets in total, he did confirm that we have been given some of Wigan's allocation (he didn't know if we would be given more)

I asked him of the likelihood would it go down to my points criteria which is 2700 points-he said 50-50 and warned me they are selling fast.

Nothing concrete Im afraid, i did tell him its a joke that we are finding out with the clock ticking and people need to make hotel arrangements etc.

Looking at which blocks are for sale on the OS, it looks like Wigan have only sold 13 blocks in the lower tier and we've now got 28 (blocks 115 to 142) with 3 neutral.

I think we'll end up with more tickets than the semi and most ST holders not in the scheme will get one.

it all seems so stupidly slow, i could buy tickets on the first day, and did so, and i can imagine everyone else buys their tickets at the first opportunity, surely it would be a simple task to see how many tickets are left, and then drop the criteria to the correct amount of people who can apply, then do the same each day after, just speeding up the process.

going the final is the pinnacle of supporting your team, to cruelly make people wait is not really on, but only my opinion.

Looking better every day i would say, i think the info about more tickets and the criteria thursday onwards will come very soon, i would understand people being upset if it is not
