FA Cup - time to give guys a rest.

I am a bit late with this topic but as someone who has backed Hughes (not that my opinion is important) I will be really peeved if he picks a "weaker team".

Two games unbeaten for City constitutes a run and we are not good enough to chop and change even against a Championship side (The defence needs all the practice is can get!)

We should pick the strongest side possible because if we had against Brighton we may now in a semi final.

I'd go with a mainly strong side, perhaps give Robbie a day off and put Studge there. Gelson in for Ireland. SWP will want to play. Caicedo to continue his run. Javi back in if fit. Perhaps give Kasper a go too.

Rest players so we draw and get an unwanted replay.

No thanks.

We only have one game a week, play the best fully fit team.

Surely it's time to make changes this weekend. After a couple of decent results, we need to keep the league run going. Also, the UEFA cup will soon come around, and it will get hectic. I think Robinho, SWP, Ireland, Kompany, Zabaletta should be rested this weekend and maybe others too. The guys have played 10 extra games in Europe this season, give them a rest, this competition is the least important IMO.

Disagree. Probably our best chance of getting into Europe next season which is vital in attracting players.
this.

City are not a good enough to play experimental teams even against the likes of Forest. Lets try and get into a winning habit and pick our best team (Robinho, SWP, Scott Parker etc)

If we played -

That team should see off Forest.

We should have defeated Brighton, who are worse than Forest. And we played a similar team and formation.

Brighton was an out and out 4 3 3, plus we had Ireland and Johnson so it looked even stronger on paper.

We missed SWP or Robinho to take someone on and cut them open. Strongest team needed.
