How can they, with all the evidence before them dismiss his appeal??? One he was offside to start with, two it was a dive and three there was absolute minimal contact to make him go over like that.A bunch of bent corrupt bastards!
The words ''woods'', ''shit'' and ''bears'' spring to mind!

FA reject QPR appeal against Shaun Derry

Seriously! He was offside the cheating halfwit

-- Tue Apr 10, 2012 3:26 pm --

The Football Association has rejected Queens Park Rangers' appeal against the red card of Shaun Derry.

A claim of wrongful dismissal was submitted for the veteran midfielder after he was sent off in Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Manchester United.

But the FA rejected QPR's decision to contest the red card and Derry will now miss Wednesday's match against Swansea at Loftus Road as his one-game ban.

A short statement on the FA's official website read: "Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Derry will serve a one-match suspension with immediate effect after his claim of wrongful dismissal was rejected by a Regulatory Commission today [Tuesday 10 April].

"Derry was dismissed for denying a goalscoring opportunity in the Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday 8 April 2012."

The 34-year-old was adjudged to have tripped Ashley Young to give away a penalty in QPR's defeat at United to earn his red card.

Replays suggested the decision was harsh and that England international Young had been offside in the build-up to the incident.

Why don't they hold enquiries into the so called professional refs and line whatever they are called these days making blatatant wrong calls??

The replays show the linesman was directly in line with young and he should have been able to see easily he was a yard offside and raised his flag.He didn't.Why?

Poor old Wigan were similarly robbed. It isn't good enough, both decisions weren't even marginal and the officials were in the ideal place to see them, yet failed in their duty and job!

not surprised

they can't take the fact that it was offside into account and there's no conclusive proof that young dived (albeit i think he did)

the videos show contact and a 'push', the red card was never going to be overturned with that!

Stevie Wonder could see that Young wasn't pushed. The whole thing stinks.
