FA Youth Cup Final - Chelsea v City - 27/4 7.45pm (ITV4) / tickets (merged)

Thought the Chelsea right back caused us all sorts of problems every time he drove forward.
No surprise that the eventually scored from one of his runs.
Diaz the star man for us.
Thought our no6 put in a good shift. Some great passes as well from him.
Keeper looked competent as well but all this passing about in the box I found really annoying.

Chelsea coach:

‘The spells that Man City did have when the crowd started getting behind them in last night’s game, you do notice it and it is something that these kids are not used to.

Hope he told Wilkins

The thing with Diaz is its not even the fancy stuff that I like (well it is impressive) but it's just how well he does the simple things. Ball under control pretty much straight away, the weight and placement of his passes are pretty much perfect everytime. With both feet aswell.

Not sure if mentioned. The age bracket for players is 15-18 on the 31Aug of current season. Kelechi Iheanacho turned 19 on Oct 3rd. Could he, should he turn out for the 2nd leg? I would say yes, what better endorsement for our youth academy than having this future star playing. Thoughts?

Utd would. That's for certain.

He's not been in the team though so it's not fair on the others.

Chelsea were dominant early on and all of the fans (were there many Chelsea fans there?) were relatively quite. Stating the truth doesn't make it biased, I thought he did OK myself.

You thought he did okay? From a Chelsea perspective? He made a big deal of Chelsea dominating after around 1.5 minutes.
