My job involves watching a lot of u9's-u12's football between the professional clubs in this country and the standard is just awful compared to other countries. Its usually just 22 players running around after the ball with very little passing, although Man City are becoming a big exception.
Oh that's good to hear. I can't claim any knowledge but I did watch the U15s in the Lion Cup pre-season and thought they looked incredible. There was such fluidity to the team, great technical ability, and they looked like a Spanish team. I wonder if anyone on BM has regularly seen our youth teams below U18 level to comment on what the general style of football(er) is looking like?
