You think? I'm not so sure given Celtic will be all out to kick lumps out of us. Maybe I'm underestimating him but have my doubts he's robust enough yet to deal with that type of clogger.

He's better built to deal with it than Delph, Gundogan or Silva, the lad is rapidly turning into a very solid unit.You think? I'm not so sure given Celtic will be all out to kick lumps out of us. Shame about Delph, I do think he has been ignored by Pep, hope he gets a chance to shine and show how good he is.
Is he going to be back anytime soon? Could do with him now. Has he ever played 90 minutes for us!?
Think he played the full ninety minutes against Steaua. I'd be surprised if he was still here next season though. Not good enough at retaining possession for a Guardiola team.

Would be a good signing for a side like Sunderland or West Brom in the January. Rather see Garcia get game time than Delph.

Delph has managed 180 games over a 10 year period .
Vinny has managed 220 since he's been at city.since 2008.
And the thread title is delph injured ,needs changing to delph fit if it ever happens.
Maybe a good player but no use if not available when needed.

Pretty much agree with everything said. He doesn't have the technical ability nor ball retaining skills to ever be a major player for Pep, so therefore if he is to have any role, it would need to be as an ever ready, utility player who's always available and who can come on to do a variety of jobs.

He was 16 a 10 year period ago, wasn't he? So how many games did he get at 16 and 17 for Leeds?

Just going off wiki says his Leeds senior career 2006 2008 44 apperences 6 goalsHe was 16 a 10 year period ago, wasn't he? So how many games did he get at 16 and 17 for Leeds?

He doesn't ever play for a Barca led Pep side or a Bayern led Pep side.
He wont feature much if at all in a City led Pep side either and its best he is moved on asap.
Nothing against the lad at all but he isnt a Pep player as he just doesn't have the skills set needed.
