A solid PL midfielder being incredibly unlucky with injuries. A shame really as he looked pretty good in pre season.

identical situation to Rodwell , when fit looked a useful squad player but even if he was available for 38 games a season he would only start a few , maybe 6 or 7 games . When he signed i thought he would be good addition for cup games etc., its no fault of his that he is injury prone and he must be as frustrated as the supporters , but its the lack of updates and information about his injury situation that is annoying and leads to some supporters believing he is swinging the lead whilst earning pot loads of money. It would be very easy for Pep to give an update about his latest set back and how it came about and our support just might be sympathetic towards a half decent footballer

Yep. That's how I read it, or perhaps as a gentle reminder to up his level on return to fitness.It doesn't but it kind of tells me he wont be here next season

I'm beginning to think he doesn't actually exist and the first couple of appearances were in fact some mass hallucination effect induced by space aliens.
He's become a bit like god in that no-one can either prove or disprove his existence, and believing that he does actually exist is really like an act of faith. Maybe people will write about him in follow him in 100's or 1,000's of years.

There are very few reports on Delph to form an opinion about his status in the squad. Obviously injuries played the part but what is the latest news on him actually. To think I was convinced Pep would turn him in to a left back not so long ago. Think of it...it has been a long time ago.

Really? Maybe it's just me but I never wish a player to be sold, unless it's clearly what they want.I hope this applies to half a dozen more players also!
Delph looks unlikely to stay much longer, but really, how many EPL clubs would gamble on someone with his injury record? Hope he can get a good move- think WBA or Palace would be a good fit for him.
