Not his best today. I also thought Sane was not as good as usual in his defensive duties, and that didn't help.

For an 8 m quid player he has excelled and to be fair learnt a new style of football anda new position,he would have probably played less this season had it not been for mendy

No one has forgotten we got 100 points last year (mostly because you post it in every thread), but that's irrelevant when discussing individual game performances. Delph had a bad game today, and this season has been pretty poor overall if we're being honest. If there is someone available at our level in January we should do the deal IMO.

I didn’t think he was too bad today. For me Otamendi and Walker were the problem in defence. Very sloppy both of them

Same can be said of the right back position. The point here is simple. The reason why Delph has been poor has nothing to do with not being a 'natural left back'. He is. He has played the position over 50 times. He is a leftback.

Similarly, Walker is currently in bad form. No one thinks this is a function of him not being a 'real or natural' Right back. It's a silly notion that persists without evidence.
