Such an underrated player.

He shored up midfield and allowed Kev to roam free.
 
Delph in for the Rags game for me.

Not only has Mendy not proven himself as nearly good enough, but Delph barely put a foot wrong all season last year and it’s been harsh on him to play Mendy over him just because we paid £50m for him when he doesn’t deserve his place in the team.
 
Captaining England and playing a tremendous part in the record-breaking Centurion season. Can't say I saw that coming last August. Pleased for him, proved a lot of people including myself wrong.
 
If he can stay fit, when he's done with left back, there's absolutely no reason why he can't be Fernies replacement. 5 years younger than Fernie too.

And he nearly signed for Stoke! Was impressive today in his preferred position
