I seem to recall when he left Leeds he wasn't very complimentary about us as a club. I think we offered the same money but he felt Villa was a better option. Bet he regrets saying that. As for his playing I am inclined to think it's a bit like Ireland who had one great season and then showed how inconsistent he was. Delph will end up the same and I for one think we need to be looking at much younger players to develop whilst we can have the cream of the crop. Most players in our squad are late twenties so we have time to find the next generation who can be schooled in our new philosophy and if they don't make the team can be sold on for profit. In short then - It's a no from me!

where do people come up with these ideas??? oh wait ....off the back of one good game and a goal against chelsea....hes not even close to the level required to improve our team.

No thanks. Not good enough. Fernandinho has set the standard for what we should be looking for and Delph is nowhere near.

The Prem's most improved player. He's really good, as is Ash Westwood who plays next to him.
I rate him too. Saw him at the start of the season and was amazed that this was the same player

Some tosh on this thread. He's a good player who consistently shows up well for Villa.

As for him becoming a City player I have no idea but I wouldn't be against if if Manuel & Txiki thought it was a good idea.
