Who the fuck is Kevin Durant?

Was a weird analogy from the miserable french bloke

Durant is a Basketball player who was too good not to win anything, so joined the best team around last 'off-season' and will probably win the NBA Finals within the next week

Let me guess. He's a pivot?

Ffs, this clown's been bleating on about a basketball player all day?
Is there nothing that the french won't fucking whine about?

Cuase you'll LOOK LIKE a weak club that buy 1/4 of the team that you couldn't beat the same year.
Just type "Kevin Durant" on google, or more funny, on twitter, and you'll see.

I do get what you're trying to get at. I mean everyone already makes fun at Pool for buying Southampton players. From the outside people will think what they want. If they think we are weak, so be it. The thing is I don't think our club really cares about this and are more concerned about making the team better. It's more down to the market. We need a left back. We were in for Rose earlier, but 50mil seems too much. Same for Sandro at Juve. With more money in the PL English teams can afford to hold onto players or put huge price tags and Juve is in the same position where they can rape other teams of money (see Pogba). Who's the next best player who is attainable? Well that may happen to be Mendy who's owners would sell. The same was with Bernardo. We were looking at Isco for a while, but he looks content on staying at Madrid. We need someone to fill in for our own Silva and he's the next best thing out who was attainable. It just so happened they played for the same team. My point is that why would we say to ourselves we don't want to look weak so let's buy another player instead if that isn't the player we really wanted? Even if we went this route and say bought Lanzini from West Ham instead of Bernardo he'd still cost a fortune and might not fit into what Pep wants.

Isn't Kevin Durant a physically imposing actor who had a cameo as a hitman in "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me"?

Maybe I am missing how he is associated to us....

But Monaco fan's are fully aware of the situation.
I only talk about what the basic football-follower will think.

Just like KD. It's the best example mate, he did nothing wrong, he promised nothing to no one, the only thing he did is left OKC for the team that beat them the same year.
And if OKC-fans feels betraied, all around the league, he have been whistle, hated, etc etc. And this will have a huge impact on the warriors in the next years, trust me.

People are pissed off at the KD situation cos he went from the 2nd team in the West to the 1st team and now the Western Conference finals are a blowout, and a potential great rivalry is destroyed.

Monaco are nothing to City. We have played two matches in my entire time supporting City (since 87).

Therefore the parallel does not hold. Not even a little bit. We may get booed in Monaco but who gives a fuck. No-one there supports you anyway.
