totally agree with the OP, only seen him a few times but looks absolute class!

I rate this guy very highly, Ive seen him play about 15-20 times in the past couple of years and he has always impressed. Think that we need good attacking full backs to provide width as I think we'll opt for a midfield 3 of NDJ,Yaya,Barry/Milner, hopefully with Silva in front behinfd 2 strikers. I think this system can work very well if you have good full backs with skill and pace.
He would also provide an option on the left wing having lost Petrov, Robi probably going and Bellamy's future uncertain. He would be worth a punt at the right price but I imagine Benfica would want silly money if they found out we were interested. Id say 10-15 million is reasonable but they'll want 25 no doubt.
Other good options would be Vargas and Cissokho. Again I think Lyon would be asking for at least 25mil so Vargas could be more affordable. Coentrao is the one id want though, absolute class, hope we can get Dani Alves on the other side too. These guys could transform our team.

My work mate who is a huge Benfica fan told me too look out for him in the WC and he is right. Also told me this morning that he wont leave for at least another 2 season and has already promised to stay on. I also know this means fuck all in football terms but he does owe his career to benfica as before he went there he was an average left winger
